My Story

I have been qualified as a therapist for over 27 years and have previously worked at Ragdale Hall and Barnsdale Hall Country Club, With a passion for helping people and making them feel their best, I have given back to industry after many years in education training many others to follow their dreams within the industry.

The beauty/holistic industry is forever changing and I have constantly trained in new treatments and techniques over the years, the latest being oncology massage. Being able to support people through one of the most traumatic times in their lives and beyond, allowing for some relaxation and a little bit of ‘normality’ is so important and now can be achieved with the specially formulated ‘Jennifer Young- Beauty Despite Cancer’ products and massage techniques.

'I contacted Emma for some help to de-stress and to be honest I didn’t really know what I wanted. I was nervous because I have had cancer before and also have other health conditions, but I booked with Emma as I heard she had specialist knowledge in working with people who have cancer or have had it previously. As I didn’t know what I wanted I left it to her and she gave me a massage and some Reiki. I found her to be very gentle at first which was reassuring as sometimes massage can be uncomfortable for me. As the treatment went on she applied more pressure and it was perfect. She seemed to know intuitively which areas needed more work and I found it a very relaxing experience. I sometimes have flare ups after treatments but this time I didn’t have anything, I just felt more at peace and content.

I’d definitely recommend Emma, but even more so if you have a health condition. She is obviously very experienced and really puts you at ease. There are lots of people doing massage around but I really felt like I was in safe hands with Emma.
